Jonathan Severe, a designer based in Boston, has gained attention for his Niraji line of reasonably priced, fashionable sunglasses. What started out as a personal search for statement sunglasses for a trip to California evolved into a business endeavour that is now becoming more and more well-liked both locally and internationally.
Severe, a 29-year-old Haitian-American, has always been captivated by fashion accessories, and he has a special interest in eyewear. When people look at you, the first thing they see is your face, he continues, thus eyewear can enhance any ensemble, whether you are dressed up or down.
Taraji P. Henson, an actress, is an inspiration for Severe, who named his company Niraji, which means "to transcend beyond." The company offers 19 trendy, long-lasting, under-$100 styles that are in demand right now. Standard UV400 Niraji sunglasses are also offered with polarised lenses. Even more, Severe provides blue-light-blocking eyewear that converts into sunglasses and collaborates with a nearby optician to fulfil all prescription orders.
If you're looking to make a bold statement without breaking the bank, check out Niraji's online store or visit their pop-up shop at Bow Market before March 11th. With Severe's passion for accessories and eyewear, you're sure to find a pair that suits your style and tells your story.
